           Hi everyone! My name is Lisa Pullen.  I am in junior year at University of South Carolina. I am learning

about Elementary Education. I created this video "Deaf education culture" because there are some students who are deaf. "Nature of teaching takes time and pracitice" among human learning in the classroom. There are individual and group difference cultures in the world.

           There are individual difference which means "variablitly in intelligence, personality, physical agility and the like." For example, there is a deaf student in the classroom full with other students who are hearing. The different between them are deaf student can not hear as others. Deaf students have their own way of hearing by using their hands and eyes. "Action research is increasingly popular endeavor among teachers, educational administrators, and other educational professionals." As you are seeing in this video I made is creativity, new and orignial behavior that yields a productive and culturally appropriate result, activities in a room. It is project-based learning room with activites as a sound lab for deaf to FEEL and SEEN. This could be a great motivation for anyone to understand and help others in the classroom. Motivation could increases some thing such as effort, energy, performance, and affect congitives processes.

         Among people who have difference personality based on their own opinion and reason. Diversity is "a community of learners may be especially valuable" when we have a diverse student with background, culture and their own abilities in the classroom. Take a example, a deaf is in the classroom fill with hearing people and he or she need help. He or she ask a hearing student who next to him or her write a note to help him or her to understand what a teacher is speaking. If a hearing person is in deaf community, a deaf person will be supportive to help a hearing person to understand what everyone is saying in American Sign Language (ASL). How can they (a deaf and a hearing who are friend) have a communicate with each other when they are not in the classroom? Be thankful to technology! We can do almost anything such as wiki to expression our cultures in the classroom. Also, it will help our learning with techology in classroom such as smartboard as our education way.

          The reason why I pick this is because that is a way to show that deaf children are important. They need someone to have communicate with children to learn education. They also need their parents to support them. The parents need to know how to communicate with their children for their own future.

The important for Children to know in education is read, write, communicate, get along with classmates, know that they are not alone in this world. They had to get connect with teacher and classmates with communicate. They must have parents who support them and be there for them. Their parents need to be involvement with their child in school because that is because they should know what is goal to help their child to be success!

It does make sense to teach deaf students, age does not matter. All matter is TEACH deaf students to be learner in any grade. NO ONE LEAVE BEHIND in education! This is good example for any teacher who want to teach deaf students!
